Inner game Study: Know What You Want
I've covered techniques, approaches, mechanics and props in earlier notebook entries.
Thought I'd take some time to take about some core inner game issues - things to get addressed as you improve your life.
In this article - I'd like to have you think about what it is you really want when it comes to women. Know it, and take the real steps necessary to make that a reality.
Be honest with yourself. I know so many single men that will tell me at length about some great relationship they are looking for - but meantime are doing things today that send out
an opposite signal entirely. If you want to meet a great girl who's emotionally secure, stable - there are places to find her. And places such a girl would never spend time with you,
even if she was there as well.
Romance and dating is like so many other aspects of life - it takes great planning. Why leave it to chance that you'll meet that 'special someone' just hanging out at a club? And do
you really think she will be there, by herself, just waiting for you to walk in the door?
On the other hand if a great girl is the furthest thing from your mind - you just want a series of dates and good times, that's available too. The Internet delivers nearly every stage
of relationship right to your door.
So plan it out!! Don’t wait until Saturday night to go out and see what comes up. Plan your life - meet women online, at events - then meet them in person for coffee dates, drinks
after work or class. Work your interactions around your life.
So be honest with yourself - and others. Take the time to answer the simple question, "What do you want?" (Quick treats, lots of dates, relationship with a great girl?) And
don't mix them up. Don’t try to build something with a girl so checked out she's in no emotional place for a relationship, and don’t try and pull a one night stand out of
a girl who's clearly interested in something more. That just makes things easier on everyone!
"What do you want?" Answer this question honestly. Your path will become infinitely clearer.
