Tape Yourself.
(From the Vault)
As you're getting your game together, sometimes its helpful to see yourself as others see you.
Even better - make use of a video camera for some unbiased feedback.
Next time you're out with friends at a club or restaurant for a birthday, wedding or some special event, make a point of getting the event taped, and catch yourself in the event.

Make a point of watching yourself - see if you can catch yourself in those off moments, those moments when you think no one's watching you.
Look for those little idiosyncracies that should be eliminated from your life - odd facial expressions, nervous tics, biting your cheek - those things convey nervous habits that do
not put you in the best light.
Being cognisant of them, removing those nervous tics will immediately convey greater confidence.
Sometimes we aren't even aware of them - make a point of seeing yourself, through trusted friends, but even better with a video on your own.
Play Monday morning quarterback with yourself - its all part of the mix towards personal improvement.
