A Most Unattractive Quality...
...is insecurity.
Insecurity reveals itself in many unpleasant secondary character traits -- controlling behavior, instability, even mean streaks.
Insecurity creates a block, a force field, preventing one from showing their true, great self.
It's a fear of rejection, a lack of response or negative response
that breeds insecurity.

But if one thinks about it, in preempting these outcomes, one is ensuring they occur.
Rather than living in the moment, taking a chance in expressing oneself with humor and joy, an aura of insecurity projects an expected outcome.
It says - I know you're going to reject me, to insult me or hurt me so I'm going to act a certain way before any of that happens.
Insecure behavior is both unpredictible and unpleasant.
And certainly not attractive.
So one should expunge insecure behavior and mannerisms from their life - and look for ways to barrel through that forcefield of insecurity from others.
That's when the fun begins.
